This Is What No One Tells You About Being Consistent

Cultivators…

Let me preface this thought by saying…

I’m not here to judge you.

I’m saying what I am about to say because I’ve lived it.
Consistency sounds simple, but it hits different when it’s you sitting there, stuck in your head again.

In the past few weeks, this has been the theme in the complimentary cultivation calls I have hosted.

I feel compelled to break it down for some of you that have not booked a call with me.

Why do we keep saying we’re gonna show up, and then we don’t?

This is why I did’t do it when I was stuck in this loop

1. I wanted the win, but I didn’t want to wait

I used to get hyped about a new idea, post once, and then get mad when it didn’t blow up. If it didn’t pop off quick, I’d convince myself it wasn’t working.
But the truth is—I was chasing instant validation, not long-term impact.

Consistency felt pointless when nobody clapped.
I had to learn that quiet progress is still progress.

2. I was scared to look like I didn’t have it all together

I told myself I was a perfectionist. But deep down?
I just didn’t want to be seen in process.

I didn’t want people to see me figuring it out or fumbling.
But here’s what I realized: the people who matter don’t need you to be polished—they need you to be honest.

I had to let go of trying to impress and start being consistent with showing up as I am.

3. I didn’t trust myself anymore

This one hurt the most.
I had said “tomorrow” too many times.
I broke promises to myself over and over.

At some point, I stopped believing my own words.
Even the smallest to-do felt heavy because I knew I wasn’t going to follow through.
That’s not about being lazy. That’s what it feels like when self-trust is low.

And the only way I started to rebuild it?
I did one small thing. Then another.
Kept it simple. Kept it honest.
I showed myself I could be consistent—even in the smallest way.

Here’s how to move different TOMORROW—no excuses:

🔥 1. Set a timer for 30 minutes. Pick one thing.

I mean it. One caption, one pitch, one email.
Turn your phone off. Shut the tabs down.
Do it ugly. Do it fast. Just do it.

The win isn’t perfection—it’s completion.

🔥 2. Post something unfinished on purpose

Take a thought, an idea, something you’ve been sitting on—cut it in half.
Post it. Don’t tweak. Don’t overthink.

Prove to yourself that you can move without everything being “ready.”

🔥 3. Record a 10-second video saying, “I’m still here.”

You don’t need a filter. You don’t need to explain.
Say it out loud and hit upload—or save it just for you.

Because the habit of showing up will save you when motivation won’t.

You’re not broken. You’re not lazy. You’re just stuck in a loop.
And this loop breaks when you move different, even in the smallest way.

Start with tomorrow.
Let it be imperfect. Let it be enough.

You got this—I mean that.
