The Untold Power of Creators Who Think Differently

The Stage Was Always Yours—Now the World’s Finally Noticing
Editor’s Note: Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside so many brilliant creators who are neurodivergent. Each one brings a distinct voice, vision, and vibe to the table. Their creativity isn’t just inspiring, it’s essential. That’s why I’m dedicating this issue to them. My goal is to help these creators get positioned for success, where their perspective isn’t just welcomed—it’s wanted. If you’ve ever felt unseen in this industry, I hope you are seeing the opportunity in what I am about to share
To My Neurodivergent Cultivators…
If you’ve ever felt like your brain works on a different frequency… like your creativity doesn't follow a straight line… or like the way you show up in the world doesn’t fit the polished creator mold—we see you.
And more importantly?
The world is finally starting to see you, too.
Let’s keep it all the way real:
Being a creator is already a hustle (even though I hate that it is).
Now layer that with being neurodivergent, physically disabled, living with invisible conditions—and Black or Brown on top of that?
That’s not just hustle. That’s heroic.
You’ve been telling your story in ways that don’t always get the spotlight.
You’ve been building community with fewer resources, creating content with unique intention, and dreaming in colors that algorithms can’t even recognize yet.
But guess what? The industry is catching up.
It means brands are waking up to what you already knew:
People who think differently are exactly who we need to shape the future.
Not as charity.
Not as a trend.
As visionaries.
And let’s be clear—when we talk about “neurodiversity,” that includes ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and all the beautifully complex ways your mind works that might’ve been misunderstood in school, in jobs, or even in your own family.
Now? That difference is your superpower.
Your Story Is More Than Valid—It’s Vital
You don’t need to code-switch your brilliance.
You don’t have to water down your story.
You don’t need to hide the stim, the struggle, the shutdowns, or the slow days.
You were never too much—you were just in the wrong rooms.
But now, the rooms are changing.
The stage is being rebuilt.
And the spotlight? It’s starting to tilt your way.
Here's What I Want You To Know:
If your voice shakes, speak anyway.
If your process looks different, trust it.
If your content isn’t “typical,” post it.
If your dream feels too big, dream louder.
You are not a glitch in the system.
Depending on the story you are telling, it just might be an upgrade.
So, don’t just wait to be discovered.
Show up. Take up space. Leave your mark.
Because this isn’t about fitting in anymore.
It’s about building something that fits you and those drawn to people like you.
ohhhhh… when you do?
We’ll all be better for it… share your untold stories.
Why am I telling you all this?
I do not gate keep so I will tell you why now in the growth opportunities section. What I am about to share is what is happening on the other side of the fence.

Havas Launches Neuroverse
Ok… here is the scoop.
Today, we live in a world that still tries to argue whether representation matters while the real magic is happening at the intersections. You already know that one in five people is neurodivergent—that’s 20% of the global population navigating life and creativity through a beautifully different lens. And Gen Z? (Source: Havas)
They’re not just embracing it, they’re leading with it. A huge part of that generation proudly identifies as neurodivergent, and they’re using their voices to shift culture in real time. Now imagine tapping into that energy, especially from the folks who’ve been overlooked the most.
Because when you bring in creators of color who also happen to be Neurodivergent. You unlock a level of brilliance, originality, and storytelling that’s been ignored for far too long.
Brands are finally starting to catch on. And honestly? It's about time.
The Opportunity Hiding in Plain Sight
Havas , one of the world's largest global communications groups just launched Neuroverse—a whole consultancy dedicated to making sure neurodivergent talent gets its flowers, not just for diversity's sake, but because the creativity and perspective they bring are gold. They’re partnering with groups like Understood.org and Creative Spirit to make sure brands aren’t just talking about inclusivity—they’re actually building with it.
And the numbers don’t lie. Brands that get it?
They see 28% higher revenue and a boost in productivity and innovation.
This is where creators of color come in. We know the creator economy is ruthless. Platforms love to make billions off your content while paying you crumbs. But for creators who are neurodivergent or might come from marginalized backgrounds, the hustle is a whole different beast. Yet, their perspectives are exactly what these brands are so desperately looking for.
Why This Matters for Creators of Color
Most mainstream platforms have yet to develop tools that cater to the neurodivergent experience. Meanwhile, creators of color are already building inclusive communities from the ground up—spaces where differences aren’t just tolerated; they’re celebrated. They’re designing their own blueprints for success. And now, big brands are paying attention.
Neuroverse’s mission isn’t just to acknowledge neurodivergent talent; it’s about integrating their perspectives into the core of branding and marketing strategies. That’s where the real power is—when you’re not just invited to the table, but you’re creating the menu.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside so many brilliant creators who are neurodivergent. Each one brings a distinct voice, vision, and vibe to the table. Their creativity isn’t just inspiring, it’s essential. That’s why I’m dedicating this issue to them. My goal is to help these creators get positioned for the kinds of doors a platform like Neuroverse is opening, where their perspective isn’t just welcomed—it’s wanted. If you’ve ever felt unseen in this industry, I hope you are seeing the opportunity in what I just shared.
As I am,

If you read this newsletter “I kindly request that from this point forward, all creators refrain from hustling backwards, chasing clout, or undervaluing their worth.” and be ready to learn from real world experience… I been at this for a minute.
Share it with creators you know and love.

If you’re a neurodiverse creator—whether you live with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or your brain just does its own brilliant thing—this is your moment. Agencies like Neuroverse are finally looking for what you’ve always had. But let’s make sure you’re ready when that door opens.
Here are five real things you can do right now to help your voice cut through the noise and land where it needs to.
1. Let People See How You Think
Your process might look different—and that’s exactly what makes it valuable.
Turn your behind-the-scenes moments into content. Show how you organize ideas, how you work best, what tools help you stay focused, or how you structure your day.
It doesn’t need to be polished. It needs to be real.
That’s what builds trust and curiosity.
2. Curate Your Highlights
Don’t wait for someone to scroll through your whole feed.
Create a pinned post, highlight reel, or landing page that tells folks three things fast:
Who you are
What you create
Why you’re unforgettable
Make it easy for someone like a brand manager, casting director, or podcast booker to say, “Oh, we need them.”
3. Write a Bio That Actually Sounds Like You
None of that “multifaceted creative professional” nonsense.
Write like you talk. Be clear, bold, and specific.
Tell us what you care about, who your work is for, and what people get when they connect with you.
If you’re funny, show it.
If you’re soft-spoken but deep, own that.
People don’t connect with resumes—they connect with energy.
4. Collaborate with People Who Get It
Don’t waste time pitching to folks who want to “fix” or tone you down.
Work with other creators who understand access, difference, and nuance.
Build mini-projects, host live sessions, or even do mutual shoutouts.
Your people will show up faster when they see you vibing with other authentic voices.
5. Create a Pitch That Centers Your Perspective
Neuroverse and others like them aren’t just looking for content—they’re looking for insight.
What do you see that others miss?
What stories are you tired of seeing repeated?
What would you do differently if someone handed you the mic?
Write that down. Record it. Turn it into your pitch. That’s your power.

I promised I would start sharing apps from my creator toolbox I am using to build @siembraconnect. This is where I plant the seeds. I found one app called OWLL to jot down all my ideas in real time, record notes, share with my team.
Did I mention it’s driven by AI? 🤖
